1

Create Your Account

LPCA Connect is invite-only. The link to create your account is posted on the LPCA parent orientation site — open it and you're on your way.

  • On the parent orientation site, tap the LPCA Connect invite link to start your account.
  • Enter your email, then choose a password.
  • You'll receive a 6-digit verification code by email. Enter it to confirm your account.
  • Accounts can only be created through the invite link — LPCA is a private community.
2

Complete Your Family Profile

The first time you log in, you'll be guided through a short onboarding. This sets up your child's record and is required before you can use the rest of the app.

  • Add your child's name, grade, birthday, photo, and any allergies or medical notes.
  • Answer the photo release question (whether LPCA may share photos of your child).
  • Fill in parent/guardian contact details, emergency contacts, and approved pickup people.
  • For high school families, you'll also choose your student's Assessment Pathway (Home, Guided, or Independent).
  • You can update any of this anytime from your Profile — changes notify your campus office automatically.
3

Read Your Home Feed

Your Home page is where teachers, staff, and campus directors share updates, newsletters, photos, and announcements.

  • Campus-wide posts (announcements, reminders, newsletter previews) appear on your Home feed automatically.
  • Tap “Classes” to open a specific class feed and see grade-specific posts, homework, and class events.
  • Posts may include photos, documents, links, and calendar events — tap images to view them full size.
  • Pull down to refresh and load the latest updates.
  • Use search at the top of a feed to find older posts quickly.
4

Message Your Teacher

Have a quick question? Send a private message directly to your child's teacher or campus staff.

  • Tap “Messages” in the bottom navigation to see your conversations.
  • Start a new conversation by searching for a teacher or staff member by name.
  • You can attach photos or files to any message.
  • For everyone's safety, campus admins are included as silent observers in conversations.
5

Check Your Alerts

The Alerts bell collects everything that needs your attention in one place.

  • You'll see alerts when someone comments on or replies to your post, or shares a new post in one of your classes.
  • A red badge on the Alerts tab shows how many are unread.
  • If a staff member logs an incident involving your child, you'll receive a full incident report by email.
  • Tap an alert to jump straight to the related post or conversation.
6

Sign Up to Volunteer

LPCA families help make campus life happen. Volunteer opportunities are built right into the app.

  • Tap “Volunteer” to see open slots for class events, lunch duty, field trips, and campus needs.
  • Sign up in one tap — you'll get a confirmation email, and a reminder the day before.
  • Need to cancel? You can release your spot from the same screen; the coordinator is notified automatically.
  • If you have students at more than one campus, switch the campus toggle at the top to see volunteer opportunities at each location.
7

View Your Students

The “My Students” tab brings each of your children together in one place — tap any student to open their full record.

  • See all of your linked students at a glance, sorted by grade.
  • Tap a student to view their overview, medical info, contacts, and student log.
  • For high schoolers, their Assessment Pathway and accommodations show right on the record.
  • Add a younger sibling enrolling at LPCA from this tab too.
8

Track Academics (High School)

Families with high school students can follow coursework and grades directly in LPCA Connect.

  • Tap “Academics” to view your student's enrolled courses, assignments, and due dates.
  • See published grades and assignment feedback as teachers enter them.
  • Your student's Assessment Pathway badge shows how they take assessments (Home, Guided, or Independent).
  • You can update the pathway anytime from your student's card under My Students or your Profile.
9

Manage Your Profile & Family

Keep your contact details and family information current — your campus relies on it for dismissal, emergencies, and communication.

  • Tap “Profile” to edit your name, phone, home address, birthday, and photo.
  • Invite a spouse or guardian so they get their own linked access to the same students.
  • Updating family info sends a notice to your campus office so records stay in sync.

High School Families: Assessment Pathways

Parents of high school students choose how their teen completes assessments. You'll pick this during onboarding and can change it anytime from your Profile.

Home: greatest flexibility — you oversee assessments at home and choose timing, environment, and resources.

Guided: students test on campus with teacher supervision and parent-approved accommodations (open book, notes, calculator, extended time, and more).

Independent: traditional testing under standard classroom conditions; grades recorded by LPCA.

Quick Tips

Bookmark lpcaconnect.com on your phone's home screen for one-tap access — it works like an app.

Check the app regularly — teachers post updates, homework, and reminders throughout the week.

Invite your spouse or a guardian from your Profile so you both stay in the loop on the same students.

Your conversations are private and visible only to you, the teacher, and campus admins.

Questions? Message your campus office directly through the app — we're here to help.
